What’s been happening:

Served as a hydrographic officer aboard the USS MAURY (AGS-16) surveying the Gulf of Siam; worked on submarine navigation systems in support of the (Polaris/Poseidon/Trident) Fleet Ballistic Missile Program; office of Oceanographer of the Navy staff manager for mapping, charting and geodesy programs; deployed in Mekong Delta for two tours as a hydrographic advisor to Navy riverine forces; concluded 36 year career with the Defense Mapping Agency in geospatial intelligence. Hobbies include skiing (until hip replacement), sailing in the Chesapeake Bay and oil painting in retirement.
